Comment: More orange than some of his brothers and sisters from the same parcel, especially in a darker yellow orange color band running right through the center of the stone. German engineering precision cut. Mammoth gemstone with over 13mm in diameter. Not for the timid. See the extra richness of color in the side-image (front image is more subdued because of brilliancy). Most citrine is not naturally colored but heated amethyst aka quartz, but this parcel comes from the famous Reddondo mine in Brazil, one of the few finds that yielded naturally strongly colored citrine. Great luster and shining color.
