Comment: From the bespoken new sapphires of Tanzania comes this padparadscha-like ruby (or ruby-like padparadscha). Daringly pink or mildly red with a good dash of orange and a Burmese silky glow. Great value in untreated sapphire as long as the new mines lasts (which is not going to be long as we hear). Shines and sparkles throughout the room in any light. Must-have variety in any collection of natural untreated sapphire and rubies.
