Overall Grade: Good

Comment: Giant deep red star ruby from old Vietnam stock. The star is better than the image could capture. It is visible and sharp, full 6 legged but not perfect. Check additional color impression without spotlight. Rare shape and zero excess weight. With 11mm big enough for a pendant or a massive ring. This ruby was mined around 30 years ago in Vietnam. Today we hardly ever get new material like this. Darkest purplish red but never blacking out. When hit by strong light the typical ruby red comes flaming up. Certified unheated.
