Comment: Ladies & Gentlemen! We proudly present: Purple Kashmir Sapphire. This new find comes from the mine in Basil (Pakistan administered Kashmir - yes, good things do come from there too). Certified origin by GGT and EMIL. GIA or GRS certification is possible too if you have some extra time. These sapphires border to purple ruby and are in fact found together with equally rare Kashmir rubies. Like the only blue Kashmir sapphire we have ever had the honor to possess, these purples (we had 3) are a wild bunch to photograph. They come alive in the dark, gleam in the sun; and are often silky sleepy in between. Always beautiful in person. Legendary stuff. We can not say if we get more from this mine but they sure do not get cheaper over time.
