Comment: Clean and bigger-than-weight-looking Mahenge spinel. We have not doctored the photo, however, the light was provided by a beautifully tropical sun-set (filtered through white curtains, not direct sun, of course not) and I feel you can see the orange-pink sunset glowing doubly in just the sweetest spot of full refection. Great photo of a great gem. No inclusions even under the lens. As all emerald cuts more color- than luster-oriented but with maximum brilliancy.
