Comment: Classical color in Ceylon spinel. Good size. Mauve is a very unique mix of purple and violet. It always changes and images never get it 100% right. Hardly any inclusions even under the lens. Hand cut in Sri Lanka. 10x8mm huge face but no window. Dense crystal. In the ever upwards-mobile spinel-world a relieve at only $300/carat for a full sized stone.
