Comment: Here is a wildly out-of-the-ordinary sapphire from Sri Lanka. In parallel sections this sapphire exhibits various types of blue, from the very lightest sky blue over Kashmir blue to a deep-night blue. Obviously this all is hard to capture in one go. Bang luster in between. In some angles (straight down especially) it gives a great impression of full fine Kashmir blue, but when tilted the different color zones become clearly visible. This is a gem for somebody who likes color zoning or the collector of natural sapphire phenomena. Free of inclusions.
