Comment: From the wildest jungles south of Pailin comes this rich blue sapphire, untreated - which is even rarer in Cambodia than elsewhere. Excellently cut and as clean as it gets, the stone displays a beautiful rich yet tranquil luster. Seldom do Cambodian stones match fine stones from Sri Lanka, but this one does not shy from the comparison. Nevertheless he does not demand the same financial sacrifices. 3-carat-show without any weak center.
