Comment: Giant unheated blue sapphire, practically free of inclusions, no window, no flaws, fine pedigree. It is not sky blue but violet cornflower blue of mild character with no gray and no green. Sapphires in this size usually sport visible inclusions, color zoning and many are badly cut - not this one; this one comes with an immaculate clean crystal (in which only the lens and the eagle-eye will find some colorless bubbles in the outer edge and a most delicate feather), perfect symmetry and evenly distributed color. If you have some extra time we will make an extra GIA report.
