Comment: Well, truth be told, we bought this beauty as sapphire. Yes, these things happen even to the veteran gem junkies. It gleams and sparkles from a fine precision cut and shines in the dark. As one of my Chinese miner-friends likes to say this is "diamond-material" only you don't get this color in diamond, I think. No visible inclusions. Simply put it is terrific. Faces up for 1.5 carat but no window.
