Comment: Here is an example of natural unheated citrine from Africa. The color is somewhere between good butter (melted) and an apricot (not ripe). Delicate hue but very visible. True natural gemstone. Absolutely clean and precision cut. (For the curious: Citrine always is heated amethyst, but sometimes this heating occurs naturally during the geological process and only then do we have untreated natural citrine). Giant untreated yellow gem at under $200/carat is a bargain.
