Comment: If you have been looking for a truly blue spinel (not storm gray or inky blue or muddy purple) you will know they are rarer than sapphire (and as expensive). This just-over-one-carat sparkler shows an energetic violet blue with no gray. Zero inclusions, liquid crisp crystal and well cut. You can get an, even unheated, sapphire for the price but this one here is a rarity.
