Comment: Anywhere and everywhere between blue and purple this gem is a photographer's a headache (as most blue spinels). Depending on the light setting one will find berry-type purple, dark sky blue, violet and even reddish sparkles in tungsten light (AIGS made itself an easy day and called it ?blue' but that does not do the trick for us). If you want an always surprising gem this is a good choice. Not flashy. No visible inclusions. Note this is MD80 (darker than main image, see 2nd big image). Flawless hand cut, no window. Good value in over 2 carat.
