Comment: This Alexandrite is obviously remarkable in size and clarity but also in its direction of color change: While Alex classically turns from green into purplish red, this gem changes from green into orange! Beautiful especially in mixed light, with golden flashes coming from an autumnal grass green. Lots of dense fire and internally always in motion, changing and transcending through space and time. AIGS certified. Perfect in shape and dimensions. A powerful gemstone character for the collector. No quick gem fun here but a constant discovery of new colors and tones. Such a gem will continue to surprise even after decades; and pass true value to future generations.
