Comment: New find of color changing Andratite Garnet from the famous Umba valley. The Andratite garnet family also contains Demantoids and brings great fire to the table. Precision cut with a big face but no window. Changes from greenish ocher at day to purplish orange at night. In all light setting this type of garnet has soave and earthy hues. The main image was taken in a mixed light bath.
