Comment: With a mellow (not hot) pink as main color, the stone is sometimes intense orange pink (as a good Ceylon Padparadscha) and sometimes of rich lavender pink, and then again close to purplish rose red in tungsten light! One area exhibits a natural silky sheen (as visible in photo) but only in some angle and light. Rare shape in sapphire. Bargain for untreated pink sapphire of this size and color strength due to one minor surface inclusions on the outer edge (hardly visible without lens). Please see the magnified images: quite a color challenge!
