Comment: Here is a chance to show-off a Victorian style ring but carrying only a light-weight on your hand. Mere six grams of gold were enough to create the optics of a massive show-time ring. In the back-images you see, the low weight was achieved by hollowing out the band and opening up all back-structure. Yet, from the front, we perceive an ultra-opulent 19th century ring with a 15 carat amethyst diamond-packed as a present. Check-out the close-up of the bow: Into these ten millimeters of band the goldsmith worked thirty-two (32) minute but brilliant cut diamonds. And no, in case you wonder, less gold here does NOT reduce the price but actually increases it because of the highly skilled labor that goes into such a master-design, and that work was not done in China but in London's Hatten Garden where the world's best goldsmiths hammer one-of-a-kind art-work for one-of-a-kind owners on one-of-a-kind real-estate-prices.

Comment: Brazilian amethyst in all-natural deep purple, free of inclusions under the lens, and cut in a lively many-facetted rectangular shape, though the gem's many details are hard to make out behind the glittering bow of diamonds that dominates the ring. See sideimages for a better color impression. A gem worthy of the packaging!
