Overall Grade: Good+

Comment: The first 'dark' Sunstone that joins our stock. His deep bluish-green (!) centre is framed by dark orange. Plus we have a most extravagant 3D-cut which needs time to understand (hence the many side images). A very unusual gem, even for a sunstone. The lens reveals beautiful copper islands, sometimes golden, sometimes yellow, like the Maldives at sunset.  As you can see in the handshot all that beauty is NOT visible at first sight but needs time to discover (though that is on principle true for all good gems here it is extreme). Challenging gemstone, even for an experienced appraiser.
