Overall Grade: Excellent

Comment: Cream colored giant spodumene, a variety you may know as Kunzite (pink) or Hiddenite (green). This less know yellow variety has no marketing name and hence no marketing mark-up. Though easily pale on photo it shows a pleasant soft yellow, similar to Japanese magnolia. Despite its size, this gem is 100% clean, well cut, and symmetric to the base, even if my images failed to show this consistently (my bad). Tougher than many other gems but not particularly hard, a pendant is a good place to show-off its museum size and perfect clarity plus luster. Untreated, with DSEF lab report, 1000 sqm rainforest protection, free worldwide shipping and all original paperwork for less than $70/ct. Note, the different hue, green, in the mirror-image, a sign of the typical strong spodumene pleochroism also found in kunzite.
