Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: 2nd of three glorious Pakistani peridots for this month. This 5.68 received an overall grade of only 'very good' because of a slither of a slim window you may spot if you know where to look (always in the center). No casual viewer will notice it, and even pros might contest its existence (try David Jerome), but our criterions are most severe. In any case, its rich apple green, that only the best peridots from Pakistani and Burmese and some US(?) mines produce, will capture all attention, and keep jaws open until you remind people to 'close' their head. Under the lens, and mainly from the back, a ray-shaped surface inclusion can be marveled at, but the rest of the gem is clean and sober (so set an example for all of us). Theoretically the ray is not an inclusion as it seems to sit on the surface, but I'd rather mention it here than have somebody complain later.
