Comment: Newly in fashion: Grey spinel a.k.a. titanium spinel, silver spinel, platinum- or snow-spinel to list a few fancy 'trade' names. Frankly, I was skeptical at first. But, as you see, I've come around. If you like understated, cool but sparkly gems, such that need a second look and love attention, you should consider these grey spinels. They used to be a cheap by-catch but prices are going up by the day. This 1.92 meets our strictest 3*Nos demands: No treatments, no inclusions, no window. IGI graded it with a tint of purple, which is not obvious, not enough to describe it as a hue but 'purple grey' seems to be the typical color description for these new Burmese spinels. Clearly a cold gem character, purple or not. Pendant-material, though some do like drop-cuts in rings; personally I don't, but it can be done. Consider a pendant with these 0.72 to match as earrings. IGI report, global shipping, WLT rainforest, support for NhRP, grading papers and full after-sales service are included in our replacement-cost-based pricing. Depending on the light-angle, the camera captures more or less grey, not a color but imagine it as such, hence dark areas are not black-outs but 'color'.
