Comment: Lots of blue in this one-and-a-half carat Zambian emerald and enough chrome to produce an intense hue in a silky crystal. The seemingly glum images with little light separate green from blue and show in the sideview the precise cut without its details getting lost in the radiance of normal light. The sprinkle of dark inclusions are lens-only, but a green layer of internal fissures may be visible from a certain angle even without lens. Like most emeralds, this is primarily a color-gem, its luster distributed into a shiny glow rather than single rays. No window, oil-only and with most inclusions drowned in color, for emerald we are close enough to our 3*NOS . A fine color in an affordable emerald, full size and good proportions. In shape and color similar to one of David's masterpieces, only a tiny bit smaller and silky.
