Comment: If it had its own marketing organization, this beautiful all-natural gem may be called 'white emerald', or 'diamond emerald', very slick names for sure, but better than 'Cubic Zirconia' and less deceiving than 'True Ruby'. The former a synthetic diamond stealing legitimacy from Zircon, the latter a Ruby made from synthetic ruby-powder. Yuck! This here is the white brother, or sister, of emerald and aquamarine, the gem called Goshenite, white beryl. This perfect precision cut has all the goods but is yet little known and thus cheap to have. If it has any color, it is a slight tint of yellow but mostly you see reflection in its images. With low density any beryl makes good size, here 8x7mm with just two carat. Inclusions are visible only under the lens and in our images. Top brilliancy, perfect dimensions. More character and rarer than mundane oversupplied diamond. From Mogok, Burma, where the famous rubies are mined.
