Comment: Ten diamonds form the pedals of the ruby-flower. The yellow gold band ends in white gold gallery and head. The top-quality ideal-cut-brilliant cut diamonds balance the ruby's dense semi-transparent crystal. See the back-side image below: Elegant arcs rise to the diamonds' outer prongs, a beautiful work of an London artisan goldsmith. These far reaching arcs plus the big face of the ruby let the ring's head appear even bigger than any normal two carats gem would allow. Giant appearance but airy and light in form and structure.

Comment: Deep pure red ruby from Burma. No purple, only a tint of violet. Big face but no window. Inclusions are beautiful to behold under the lens, and perhaps to the unaided eye in good light and in some angles. Most desired vivid red hue famous for the best Burma rubies, aka pigeon blood. As in 2.16 , the silky dense crystal of the ruby is balanced by the extra brilliant diamonds surrounding it. The semi-transparent crystal makes it a more affordable gem, even for a Burma ruby. Opportunity to own a legendary gem in high-end designer setting, one-of-a-kind. Bargain for a plus two-carat unheated Burma ruby. Handshots must be re-made. Additional lab-reports on request.
