Comment: Heavily build Georgian style single halo around an ideal-square emerald-cut Zambian emerald. Note the slightly 'rough' worked details characterizing the époque. Two Fleur-De-Lis seem to hold the emerald basket touching on the top but another lower bridge connects to the bottom and provides strength and stability. Seven grams of 18k white gold are more than one might expect from the visually slender setting. As always in David's design, the center gemstone gets ample light to shine and glow in all its glory.

Comment: Seriously sized extra classic square emerald cut un-oiled Zambian emerald. Almost 9mm square without any center weakness in color or saturation. Bright neon glow from high chromium content, especially rare in an 'ordinary' Zambian emerald (not a Sandawana emerald from Zimbabwe). As well captured on the images, the hue is vivid green with only a hint of blue but zero yellow or brown. There is nothing secondary in this Zambian quality. The one (volcano-shaped) inclusion is visible only in certain angles and light, a rare level of clarity in any emerald, much more so in an unoiled specimen.
