Comment: Rose-gold and morganite, with its bright flamingo pink, are a match made in, well, 'heaven' but that would sound too cheesy. In any case, David's design combining rose-gold with Morganite, one of his favorite gems, is spot on. The symmetric block of diamonds (see close-up below) is Art Deco in its purest form. Each diamond is set into a square sphere with vertical carvings down the complete band. Note the extra long double-prongs holding the gem high up into the light. A visually massive design, but elegant and not too heavy for daily use (under six grams). Compare this style with the other morganite we have from David and distinguish between Art Nouveaux and Art Deco. Elegant and yet substantial at the same time.

Comment: This Brazilian pink beryl a.k.a. morganite is exceptional in its strong vivid hue (many untreated Morganites are more baby pink than flamingo rose). See the close-up back-side image to catch uncommonly rich color with, in my opinion, a good dash of orange. Utterly clean (nothing visible even under the lens), untreated, precision cut. Tender hue, yet eye-catching.
