Comment: A seller once tried explain to me that the name 'Rubellite' derived from 'Ruby-light', which is of course nonsense (I smiled and nodded) but I remembered him now because this 1.91 Rubellite is all but 'light'! Interesting needle inclusions (see extra images) and a swirling melange of pink and aggressive purple are visible under the lens only. Untreated, no window, IGI certified Rubellite (not only 'pink tourmaline'). Would make a stunning pendant, perhaps surrounded with a halo of diamonds.
