Comment: This is the biggest untreated pad we have come across in years. It has a mild but very visible mix of orange and pink, with no real dominance of either color but just the ideal equilibrium. The silky appearance testifies its 100% natural untreated state. Silk is visible to the unaided eye. The beauty and legend of a true Ceylon padparadscha. We re-cut this gem from over 7 carat to give it the highest brilliancy and a perfect symmetry. Double certified as unheated padparadscha (EMIL and GUEBELIN) the big images in different light settings (sun, daylight, tungsten and mixed) will give you an idea of the gems variances, while it always appears orange pink to the eye in any light. Especially in dim conditions this 6.5 carat glows with full energy.
