This little fellow got sorted into the 'big' parcel and had a full report done because it measures almost 5x4mm, usually the size of over half a carat (big in Sandawana terms). It came back from IGI with only 21 points and a closer look shows why: it is flat below though well cut above. This makes a gem for great photos, considering its size, and great transparency with beautiful inclusions and yet only 21 points to pay for. Theoretically windowed, but not visible to the eye. Bargain for a ring with a 'real' emerald that looks its part but doesn't cost it.
