Deepest, and perhaps emerald-only, green found in nature. Average size from Sandawana. This is not the so-called 'open green' but a pure dense green without yellow or grey but only the slightest hint of blue. Sandawana Emeralds hold their color in all sizes, and such a 6x5mm gem can fill almost any setting be it ring or pendant. The former may be limited at a size 8 and for the latter a delicate bezel will do all magic. Very different from a Medium 50. As all emeralds it should be set with some protection. GIA info on emerald grading can be found here. The classic oval shape is pleasing in its proportions and not too close to round. As most emeralds these are not sparkly gems but pure color masters, here with IGI grade 'fine color quality'.
