One of our finest Sandawana emeralds in oval and still in an affordable size. IGI allowed a rarely given 'fine color quality', 'bluish green', and 'Zimbabwe' plus our 'lightly included' and high brilliancy for an emerald. Almost 6x5mm but no window (this being the result of good traditional cutting but also the low density of beryl in general, thus half a carat is as big as one carat sapphire). Fulfilling our, especially for emeralds, very demanding 3*NOS standard if you set aside the colorless oil. This type of emerald hue is often called 'open', the neon bluish green, and a favorite amongst many collectors. Potential partner for a pair with OCE056 for dangling earrings - what a show! Ask us for a package-deal under $10k. See the for an emerald exceptional clean crystal with blue spots in the close-up image below and under 'more images'.
Read why Sandawana Emeralds are a long sold-out-legend and still unrivaled ever since the last mine closed.
