Radiating neon blue-green emerald almost without any inclusions(!) and these only under the lens and for the sharp eye. One tiny area in the upper half is lightly included, but all visible only under the lens. Such a clean crystal is a 1-in-1.000 even when moving in the upper 1% of all emeralds. Note in the close-up below: You can actually see through the center in this angle (strictly speaking this is a window but color and size remain invisible in person, or without magnification). 'Fine color' is a rarely given compliment in IGI reports, even harder to find is the origin 'Zimbabwe' (the report comes with the gem in the original, free of extra charge) which means 'Sandawana' for emeralds. Half a carat is an average size in this famous emerald type with the world's highest chromium content. Minor surface oil only, extremely visible even from a good distance. Fills any ring up to size 10. Compare for example with 0.76: clearly more blue in this gem and a brighter, more aggressive shade, called 'open' in emerald-speak. Let us design a personal heirloom in a match with this 0.55 and stay under $10k for a pair of straight forward dangling bezel earrings, or let's add two halos of diamonds to make it a glitter- and color-show beyond any mundane off-the-shelf luxury. With a halo of diamonds, the total will cross the $10k line but such emeralds have no future value boundaries. Forget white diamonds as mobile assets, they loose value by the week (not so colored diamonds). This kind of gems, rare and with already closed sources, is what will present value in the next century.

Read about what makes Sandawana Emeralds so special (aside the fact that not many are for sale anymore, our inventory being by far the largest worldwide).
