Slender cut, elegantly shaped, 9x5mm, a Sandawana emerald big enough for a pendant without window or visible inclusions: 3*NOS minus a little oil; even under our draconian rules, we could not grade this as 'moderately included' and in fact such barely visible inclusions are in Paris considered minor and normal in emeralds, not inclusions really, but 'les jardins d'emeraude'. French romantic aside, here you see the exciting emerald-only vivid (in the meaning of 'pure', a green with no blue and no yellow). Medium Dark 70 is the perfect shade, never dark, never ever pale. Grab yourself one of these terrific gems while they are available under 5k/ct including a priceless letter of origin from DSEF, global shipping and 1000sqm of rainforest protection at WLT.org. In case you are new to the world of emeralds and wonder why we have such a large collection of Sandawana, even as we claim they are so rare, take an hour or two and try to find a certified Sandawana emerald. You may come across some claiming to be Sandawanas, but ask for a lab report as well. These here are from the last collector who, living 'close-by', bought all he could get as the mines ran empty 20 years ago and then kept them for 'laters'. Thanks to him we can present a serious collection of Sandawana emeralds, while finding a single piece elsewhere, especially over one carat, is a challenge.

I imagine, even Brad had a hard time getting these, estimated at 4ct/each.
