Comment: Before you waste time to search the GRS website: "CE(O): None" means 'no treatment whatsoever'. They might have said that a bit clearer but, hey, who dares to ask for customer service when a report costs only $350 (without origin)? Aside from having been certified as ultra-rare "un-oiled" this 1.72 Sandawana Emerald got a prime "vivid green" which is the best color category available in green (not blue-green) emerald. Thus we here have one of the rarest animals in the gem world: an unoiled, vivid green, lightly included, full-sized, royal-pedigreed emerald. From the number of images I made, you may guess how much fun it was. Face-up, approximately one third of the gem is free of inclusions (see close-ups), but in truth, studied from the side or back the gem is actually 2/3 totally clean. The included part is to the unaided eye, green-only with no visible white or black or whatever spots or cracks (lens only and on our show-all 36fold magnified images). Note, vivid green does NOT equal neon green, which is brighter and more aggressively shiny. This green is the deep rich pure emerald-only color that made the gem so famous. Study the side and back images: you can actually see through the gem, which is a compliment in emerald. From the front, of course, there is no window. All-in-all a true rarity for the collector, investor or high-end jeweler.
