Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Rich red with a secondary purple in an almost round first impression. Good luster, especially for ruby. Typical Mada inclusions are visible only under the lens. Over 5mm round from under one carat and yet no window, great hand-cut without flaws. See image in 'cold' daylight with violet undertone. Unheated ruby in spot-on color from affordable Madagascar stock. Double certified unheated with origin. Deep red but no black-out (IGI images is off tone.) Will fill a size 5 in prongs, or size 6 with bezel. 'Rock'-solid quality in unheated 3Nos ruby.
