Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Excellent crystal in a periwinkle sapphire. Beautiful color with tons of luster in an emerald shape. Flawless handcut with fine polish. Delicate mix of violet and purple in light medium 40 (0=white to 100=black). 3Nos quality. Stronger than so-called pastel colors with surprisingly little color shift in different light settings, meaning it stays in the same hue, independant of light setting. See close-up. Any inclusions visible on photos is surface only, or dust. The deep body enriches the color, avoids a window but limits the gem to a max ring size 6. In the main image the gem stands upright on one facte on its small side, always a good indicator of an exact cut. IMO this would be color mixing well with yellow or white material. Will not suffer from a darker bezel setting, but would do best in delicate prong setting, perhaps a classic Tiffany style for an elegant ring to wear on special occasions or without hard tear and wear (as is always the case). Fresh IGI report can be done with some extra time, and without surprises.
