Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Bought as padparadscha but AGL decided the secondary orange is 'brown.' Hence 'only' a pink sapphire with an earthy character. The center is slightly open making this a 2.5Nos gem: No visible inclusions, no treatments but a tat of window. If you can negotiate this not very obvious flaw, here is a chance to own a low-toned (dark orange being 'brown') untreated near-padparadscha over one carat and 7x6mm face-up. Mild but sparkly, hand-cut, good crystal, never dark, never hot pink, never pale. Will fill a size 6 ring with prongs, or size 7 with bezel. See more images for luster. In handshot, I didn't try to hide the window with reflection but it always showed like this.
