Comment: Adamantine sapphire with multicolor light pinkish-purple violet-blue' or thereabouts may be the only all-encompassing color description for this rare off-hue and even more off-tone Australian sapphire. Although just sub-carat, it offers you with almost 6x6mm a carat-plus face-up whirlwind of brilliancy shimmering in bright rainbow hues. These delicate changes are not color-change effects (not the result of changing light sources) but rather multicolor effects without fixed color zones. AIGS took the fast way out and called it plain BLUE which may well be one of the more obvious single hues, but even the camera does not agree and leaves us with mostly pink and purple-violet sparks..., sparks, uhm, 'sparks', there is a word that describes the one constantly charming feature of this sapphire: a wavy stream of warm sparks, each with a slightly different tone and hue, pour from this unique gem, allways in light tones, all in the pink-purple-orange-violet spectrum, joining regularly to a light blue, as in the handshot below. Perhaps this is a rarely observed effect of silk in otherwise commonly dark Australian sapphires? A lot of question-marks dot this comment section, and true I cannot think of any other, almost white sapphire from Australia. Perhaps an Australian sapphire specialists can add some know-how? The 3*NOS validated as truths: No treatments, no window, no visible inclusions. Thus you can be sure to select only from the very-few-top-% of all gems in the market, whether you prefer your OZ sapphires as rare merry off-color white gems with shimmering tints or the classic scary dark space gems, you always get only the very best with all services included, except that is a personal jewelry setting in tune with your character and life-style. That counts extra.
