Comment: Precision cut in Australia, here is fresh green pear sapphire. Many Australian sapphires are color-zoned, often multicolored, the party-gems, but the color here, as visible in the image on wood, is evenly distributed. Changes of tone and hue are a typical light effect in pear shapes due to the inherit asymmetry on one axis. Note one handshot with color-only, and one with luster appearing from the rounded side. Zero inclusions, even under the lens. No window. No inclusions. The hue is bright fresh green, without any blue tint, plus a moderate yellow as secondary hue. No black-out, never pale. With almost 10mm length it offers a setting as pendant. In a ring over size 7, the tip needs full protection, best with a V-shape prong.
