Comment: Un-heated lemon-quartz a.k.a. citrine but with one half left colorless by nature. Light yellow quartz that is NOT heated amethyst is sometimes found in Minas Gerais and also Africa, but this is the first time I have seen it in such a seriously long crystal with color-zoning. 3xNo Code: No treatments, no inclusions, no window (though an easy tilt-window). See the image-close-up on the upper top, where the gem turns orange-yellow, while from the side it's greenish yellow. The whole piece is so long, full 35mm or 1.4 inches, that I could not get a focused hand-shot. Please check a ruler for 35mm or ask us for an image with size-relation or I'll re-try the hand-shot. I don't smoke but I think a normal matchbox is approximately that size. Precision cut. Should become a pendant, with the colorless part in a cap and the yellow side hanging free. Powerful jewelry!
