Comment: This is the biggest untreated Ceylon padparadscha we have come across in years. A balanced mix of orange and pink, with no real dominance of either color but just the ideal equilibrium. The silky crystal glows and glimmers even in lowest light, while it shines and sparkles wildly in full light (see handshot). The beauty and legend of a true Ceylon padparadscha in a seriously world-class sized gem. Inclusions visible only under the lens. We re-cut this gem from over 7 carat to give it the highest brilliancy and a perfect symmetry. Double certified as unheated Ceylon padparadscha (EMIL and GUEBELIN). It does not get bigger, nor better (of course it always does).
P.S. This gem is on an installment plan. Chances of future availability are zero-ish. If you have a big pad on your mind, let us hunt another with time and budget.
