Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Last of the purplish blue sapphires from Sri Lanka, the parcel with the broad variety of sky blues. This one comes with an excellent cutting grade, an especially rare and valuable feature in heart shapes which are notoriously difficult to center and maximize in brilliancy. See the details in the side-image for the quality of facets and symmetry. Again, the combinations of hues and tones are legion, if all within the bandwidth of our skies. A lively bright gem, two colorless bubbles are visible only under the lens, no window, no treatments, with full IGI report including origin. IMHO, just the right type of color and luster for an entry e-ring, no doubt as to its color or type of gem, blue sapphire at first and immediate sight. You can't go wrong.
