Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Almost aggressively sparkling blue sapphire from the same mine-run as 3.61. A precision-version of the sought-after princess cut. Not free of inclusions but intersected by a bundle of thinnest needles and one 'feather', caught in the close-up below and clearly explaining the origin of the label 'feather' as a type of inclusion. Though always blue in total, the extreme brilliancy turns the gem almost white in mirroring facets. Clearly a gem for those who love their gems sparkly and with lots of fire, or, said differently, clearly a 'luster gem', rather than a 'color gem'. Whatever your preferences, you get our 3xNo-quality: no window, no treatments, no visible inclusions. If you are not sure about color preferences but love the BLING, then let us set this gem in a classic tiffany style and nothing can go wrong. White gold or platinum would add to the sharp character, yellow gold would make it softer.
