Comment: Another delight from Peter's precision bench. Down from 3+ carat came this unheated yellow sapphire to shine and glitter with 1.62 carat. Some inclusions are visible under the lens only, and in our close-ups. The eye perceives nothing but fire, even if the images catch background reflections and the typical Ceylon gueda, the silky veils that heat would burn away but we honor as sign of authentic nature. A new IGI report will be done in time, or right away if you want. Sorry, but I must rest my arm and leave you with the images which are unfortunately never as good as the gem in this case. Ask if anything is less than obvious.
