Overall Grade: Very Good
Comment: Very visible but lightly toned blue with a silky violet glimmer. Not your everyday sapphire. Strictly spoken only "lightly included" (read: cannot see inclusions with the naked eye) but we feel that its dense silk (typical for usually later heated, but not here, Ceylon sapphire) plus some feathers give the stone a moderately included character. All in all, an unique untreated blue sapphire in good size for a pendant. Great value under $2k/carat (including certificate and transport, charity and all extras, as always with us).
