Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Reminding of a flame in shape, hue and luster, and thus may ask for a setting in a pendant with tip up. Handshot came out too dark with thunderstorm rolling outside, must be remade, ask if of interest. The images on wood show the default IRL hue and tone best, with the other colors dependant on background and sudden changing weather (typical April effect). Deeper red in tungsten light, cinnamon or caramel in daylight. Local tilt window from one angle (visible in main image), no visible inclusions, untreated, big face up. More luster than most in these drop or pear shapes. IMO not a ring stone but possible up to size 8. Always ready to surprise with new beautiful hues in the red-copper-orange scheme with yellow added. Could be precision re-cut but would go under 2 carats, yet with little loss in face-up.
