Comment: For all to see, a most unique colour, far off the beaten path, as such a Q of taste. Facts are: Big face-up in a rare shape, no window (a bit of center tilt but not a window as such), no inclusions, great luster, no inclusions (even hard to find under lens), never dark. With a little more pink it could have grown to become a padparadscha, while a sunset of this color is possible, it would not be classic. I see a bright tender orange mixed with purple but also pink and yellow. Thus dependant on light setting, the gem is changing to your daily entertainment. Our photos, as always, are made in pure natural daylight, indoors and even there you can see the variations. Always a metallic sheen, at the same time a mild skin hue, not pushy or flashy but tender and delicate. Going on 8x8mm from just over 2ct, worthy of 3ct in other cuts. Ring size up to 8, in the square shape allowing even a size 4 if the band is wide enough. Both yellow and white gold, or platinum will do well. Great value if the color speaks to you, no need to pay for hot pink or kashmir blue just because everybody wants them.
