Comment: This 3.61 is a rock-solid, unheated but still affordable, always-blue sapphire with almost 9x8mm face-up. 3xNo: no treatments, no windows, no visible inclusions. The local hand-cut is good enough to make our inventory, without any obvious flaws or asymmetries, but it could profit from a precision re-cut if you have the patience and appetite for adventure. The underlying body would profit from a 'slimming', not by liposuction, naturally, neither by jogging, but under the tender hands of Conny F. during an eternal Swedish winter. Its hue and tone is of the combination, we often recommend for one-time ring-buyers. The more expensive Royal or Kashmir blue often strikes the beginner as darkish at first-sight, and for e-rings first-sights DO matter, especially if the lucky one is not yet an experienced sapphire collector. As best seen in the handshots, the color is a bright but never-pale blue, a straightforward sky-blue. The natural, and mostly positive, relation we have to blue skies and clean water is a sure-fire guarantee that the e-ring will be loved from the very first moment on, while NOT costing a house and an arm. IGI certified unheated Ceylon sapphire. As all our gems, this one pays for a thousand sqm of rainforest to be bought and protected by WLT in your name, supports an animal-rights lawyer, and comes with all original paperwork that will assure future value documentation, a valuation that goes only upwards in untreated gems. Let us know if you need help with a setting or want to explore the re-cut options.
P.S. In the main image the gem sits on black sticky-tack, a try-out in gem positioning. If you don't like it, but are interested in the gem, we'll re-make it old-fashion style.
