Comment: Always blue, never pale, never dark and BIG sapphire in a classic hue, certified unheated and finely pedigreed. I recommend this type of sapphire for one-time/first-time e-ring buyer. While the deeper blues (Kashmir & Co.) will drive collectors to pay any price, an obviously blue sapphire like this will not raise any concern with potential critics at the cashier or dinner parties ('Oh, you have a black gemstone! How unique....'), but will be immediately identified as a sapphire. No visible inclusions, no window, no treatments. Immaculate and rare in this size. Surrounded with a few diamonds this is queenly gem.
