Overall Grade: Good

Comment: Sky blue sapphire with a silky sheen but no visible inclusions. Keeping with the sky-reference we could envision this particular sky to include a layer of light cirrus clouds, sometimes thicker sometimes thinner (yet not opaque or translucent but always transparent). See backside image for a view on the clouds as seen from an airplane. 12x11mm, no window, definetely a giant sapphire for an unusual jewellery project or simply to get your hands on a 7 carat under 10k. Heat would probably burn the silk away but we like it as it is.
